I know how rules can get tedious and bland over the years but I assure you I post rules not to condemn you but to ensure that you have an enjoyable time here on the boards.
You are expected to fulfill these rules to not only to the best of your ability but to near perfection. This is incredibly important to your board stay. If these rules aren't kept then chaos will ensue and no one will be able to have fun.
Normally, I have a Zero Tolerance policy but I'm going to be a little lenient and allow you guys a magical Three Strikes.
Strike One results in a warning.
Strike Two results in a warning and a form of punishment.
Strike Three results in a ban from the forums.
Understood? Good. Now here are the rules:
1) No Spamming or Trolling. Please don't harass other members on the boards regardless of whether what they did was right or wrong. Respect is not only common sense but it's common courtesy.
2) Keep swearing to a minimum. If you honestly feel the need to spew out an obscenity please keep it to a minimum roar.
3) No erotic posts. Okay, so most of us here are adults and we can handle these mature situations and discussions, but you have to keep in mind that there are minors viewing the site. An occassional reference is okay as long as it doesn't get graphic. If you feel the need to cyber please don't do it on the forum, whether it be public or in a private message. If you feel that you absolutely need to do this then get on some instant messenger and do so. It will not be tolerated on the forums.
4) No posting anything illegal; this means things about prostitution, use/handling/merchandising of illegal drugs, soliciting a minor, pornography or any of the like. Common sense, people!
5) Moderators get the last word. Please, no arguing with a moderator or the admin. If you feel that a moderator has treated you unjustly then report it to me and I'll get both sides of the story before deciding what justice is appropriate.
6) No double posting[/b]. If you feel that you didn't say what you wanted to say in your last post on a thread then there is always the Edit or Modify Post option. The only time that this doesn't apply is when you're posting stories in the Writer's Paradise section.
7) No posting inappropriate links or images.[/b] Period. Common sense, people!
8) Whining is not allowed.[/b] If you feel that you've been mistreated by another member or if you're having troubles with the board then don't plug up the forums with your wailing. Send me a Private Message and I'll see if I can solve or alleviate your problem.
9) Giant images in posts or signatures are not allowed.[/b] The maximum avatar size is 100x100. Your signature banner should be no bigger than 585x140. If you think your signature might or might not be appropriate in size then let me see it first and I'll tell you if it's okay. I'll leave images in threads to your own discretion. Please don't make them outrageous sizes, people!
10) Rules are subject to additions or modifications.[/b] I'll be adding or editing rules as we go along. I won't do it to the point where it's taxing on members but if changes are needed... changes I'll make!
And most importantly!
